In honour of Chelsea Flower Show being held online for the very first time (!) I thought it would be fun to compile a list of 5 garden tours that you can enjoy from the comfort of your sofa! It is amazing to see how the world is evolving and adapting to the monumental changes that are happening, so lets dive into the exciting possibilities of a virtual tour…
One of the most famous gardens out there… it even has its own tube stop! If you bought our health heroes bundle check out the alpine rock garden where the director of Kew Gardens, Richard Barley, talks us through why these are remarkable plants.
The national trust have killed it with this virtual tour, the quality is amazing and the sound effects really makes you feel like you are nestled amongst these beautiful gardens. My favourite one is the old garden tour, which is stunning and chock full of different plants and flowers tumbling from the flower beds
Monets garden at Giverny
Transport yourself to the Normandy coast with this beautiful tour of the painter Claud Monet’s garden. He famously said ‘My garden is my most beautiful work of art’. It’s amazing to see his paintings come to life in the garden tour, recognising the plants that have been immortalised in his paintings.
The RHS Wisley Garden
There is SO much to see here, but the real wow factor is in the mixed borders. Framing either side of the walkway they are huge and colourful and textured, and what dreams are made off when it comes to creating your own! Wisley Gardens should hopefully be opening soon but here is a highlight of what delights they have to offer.
This is the dream! Nestled in the Surrey Hills this lemon coloured house is surrounded by the most quintessentially English gardens, apple trees are situated next to roses and white wisteria tumbles from the walls. Get comfy and watch the head gardener take us on a tour.
I hope these tours transported you to these lovely gardens, and hopefully you will be able to enjoy them in real life soon!
